I have a unique foundation of experience providing counseling, guidance, resources, and support for those who are challenged by trauma, domestic violence and identity concerns. My community experience includes supporting, collaborating and coordinating adults in leadership; facilitating growth in small audiences, mentoring students and heads of households, as well as supporting a wide array of people individually.
I have over 18 years of providing emotional and spiritual support. I strive to provide the best care through an eclectic trauma-informed counseling approach. My approach is foundationally based in client-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed therapies through which I combine a variety of methodologies that tailor the work to the unique needs of the client including Internal Family Systems, Narrative and Strength-based approaches. My ultimate goal is to provide support with efficiency and applicability in a time-effective manner.
I have more personal experience than professional. Retired from a 29 year career, I am following a life’s calling and passion. My servanthood includes roles of a mental health therapist, supervisor, grief counselor, group facilitator, home supervisor, chaplain, hospice companion, caregiver, ambassador for widow’s ministry, mentor for homeless families, and sole proprietor.
